I was arrested for a misdemeanor (retal theft) in miami 10 years ago. will that show in a fingerprint backgrond check

If you were an adult when this occurred, yes. It should also show whether or not you were found guilty.

If they fingerprinted you 10 years ago and you were over 18 years of age when it happen. Then the answer is yes it will show up.

Probably, but you may want to check w/ FDLE web site to see if there is still a record of your conviction.

Also, if this is for a job, they usually don't care about misdemeanors unless it has something to do with law enforcement or bonding. If you are not sure if that is the case, I would be honest if your record shows up. Employers appreciate more than necessary honesty.

Yes all arrests where you are fingerprinted will keep the fingerprints in file.

If you convicted of the crime, your criminal record will appear in your record check

if it was more than 10 years ago it shouldnt... depending on what the fingerprint background check is for. if the cops are doing it it will show. IF it is for something else it shouldn't.
