is it true?
if you swallowed a drop of mercury it would pass throu your body within minutes ...i herd this years ago and know it is dangerous to do so don`t do this at home or anywere else but have you ever herd of this

Don't think anything runs through the human body that fast but I can remember pinging mercury around the physics lab at school - I don't think any of us realised how deadly it can be but it was fun at the time

Not true at all, thats one of the problems with mercury, it is poisonous and stays in the body for a very long time

Freddie Mercury had AIDS, and anyone who swallowed just a drop from him would've died like he did. Shame really, the man was a genius and legend. And there's a lesson - DON'T SWALLOW

I wouldn't say "in minutes", but it is definetly very toxic. There are many diseaeses that stem from it, such as the Minimata disease. It is a heavy metal, and will move quickly in your bloodstream, but not in minutes. Less than days, however.
