I've never been stood up on actual date or if I was meeting someone somewhere.
I have had friends make plans and then I've sat at home waiting. And the "I'll give you a call" thing from friends happens all the time! Including family!

I had a girlfriend in High School that thought it was funny to call and say she would pick me up for the games- you know- its a big deal, make-up, tight jeans etc, and no one would come! I could have gotten other rides with other friends so it did take about 2-3 times (not in a row) before I realized- hurt and still at home- that this was a mean joke! I'd known her since kindergarten!

Ive been stood up twice ,but friends and family that they will phone at a certain time ,many many times.

Just once and he called about 45 mins later. Had a flat. We went out the next night.

I have a friend, who lives about an hour from me. He's been here once or twice, and complains that It's far to drive, so I offered to come to him one night. I got all prissed up, and excited about seeing him, but when I got near his house, I got lost. I called his cell phone, and he wasn't even home! He was drunk, and had forgotten!

Yes. I called him two days later and he asked if I thought he was an ***. He felt bad. Things went downhill from there.

Yep....me and a girl were gonna go to dinner at this nice resturant downtown....I remember checking my cell to see what time it was every 2 min. or so. It turned out she was with my best bud that night. I lost both that night........

Yes I have been by all three. It sucks and those people were irresponsible so no waste really.
