"THEY WANT RENT ON TIME" BUT FORGOT TO FIX THEIR PROPERTY, AND GET AN ATTITUDE WHEN SOMETHING NEEDS FIXING. IS THIS JUST ME OR DID I MISS SOMETHING?

I've had one of those b4..lol. Wow what memories.. B4 we had moved in she had painted the dining room and dpilled paint on th carpet -never cleaned it up nor did she replace the carpet..the walls going upstairs needed another coat of paint, the bathroom had no door, the bathtub drain leaked down into the kitchen on my deep freeze..oh and lets see the kitchen floor was not finished and you had to be carefull not to get splinters on your feet as you walked across..the wall paper was peeling in ea room..the living room had no paper just plaster board.. landlord had stuff to finish the bathroom but never did ..never wanted neone else too either.. I had thought she was gonna fix things while I lived there..wrong..after i found out she could of catedless I called the fire marshell,and housing inspectors then moved out..lol she was later condemed ..

That sounds like my landlord!! Last year he couldn't afford to pay the heating bill and our heat was shut off for about 2 weeks! Than about a month ago the fridge broke and he didn't have time to fix for 3 days ~ and all food was wrecked and he wouldn't pay for damages. He takes a couple days to plow our driveway out! So I totally relate! We live in a small town so it is hard to complain about him! But hopefully I can find something soon!!

check for local ordinances for landlords responsibilities, it varies per town.
You missed the unwritten small print!

Yes your right they are lazy and they wount do anything but your late with the rent watch out
