How often do you truly give thanks for all that you have?

How often do you take advantage of the simplest of things?

How often do you hate because everyone else does?

How often do you think less of yourself because of someone else?

How often do you hide how you truly feel?

Everyday we are faced with a thousand different questions and some of no real importance but others of significant proportions. Many of the questions we might face from time to time or never really give much thought to other wise. Is it because they are less important or not as relevant to the reality in which we live. How many Questions have we faced that we’ve been given the answer to, at one point in our life?

So here is what I am asking, what are some real questions from the heart that any of you have. I would like them to be on a serious note and they don’t have to be directed towards me but anything in general and/or what you truely believe in your heart the answer to the question is.

I am grateful for what I have, but I am always trying to improve.
I try to avoid hatred because it is not good energy and just get you sick.
I think of others, and I am glad when my life makes a difference to theirs.
I always greet people with a smile because it is the cheapest and most gratifying gift I can offer.
But I still ask myself, every day, what am I doing here? Why I am me? what is at stake for me? How long will I stay around?

Anytime i get upset, or wish that I have something else, I remember that I may not have everything that my heart desire but I have a lot more than some people. I am thankful for everything that I have been blessed with because I know it could be taken away from me. Many people forget the little things in life is what make life worthy. People automatically assume that the car the drive, the home they live, the food they eat, etc. will always be there and that they are entitled to it. However, remembering that you have been blessed with all of that and more keeps you humble.

i do not want to sound patronising. may i therefore answer indirectly?

before, i used to curse traffic, and i have now learned to be thankful i have a car. and when come days that i just hate my job, i think of all the jobless persons who'd kinda kill to have it.

a business tenet goes-- "at any given time, do the most productive thing you can do, despite all odds."

another saying goes.. "be honest, even when others are not.. love, even when others do not.. help, even when others cannot.."

the desiderata says something like-- "do not frustrate yourself by comparing yourself with others, for there will always be someone above you, and below you."

..and the truth shall set you free. heroes are not vastly different from the brave. they are just braver 5 minutes longer.
