Kerry: "I voted for the 85 billion before I voted against it." = FLIP FLOP

Kerry: "I support our troops...the US military shouldn't be terrorizing women and children in the dark of night." = FLIP FLOP

Kerry: "...if you get a good education you'll do OK. Otherwise, you'll end up in Iraq.....I wasn't talking about the military I was talking about Bush." = FLIP FLOP

It used to be when you looked up “Flip-Flop” in the dictionary it showed an inexpensive sandal, now it shows a picture of Kerry. Kerry is now synonymous with a shoe worn on the left foot placed squarely in ones mouth along with the foot.

The 'flip-flopper' label was put on him while he campaigned for president in 2004. It mostly applied to his position on the Iraq war, which appeared to morph from originally supportive of the war, to very critical of the war in the Democratic primary.... then in the general election he tried to be more supportive of the war again while criticizing any position Bush took even if Bush's position was similar to his own. He also famously said of one bill 'I voted for it, before I voted against it'. In short, he seemed to be acting like a typical disingenuous politician.

I believe I coined the phrase myself. I believe I say it on every show. I'm glad so many listen.

I am also glad to see people still understand that Kerry was taking a direct swipe at the military he hates so damn badly and not a joke about President Bush. I explained it on my show. I'm glad so many listen.

It is true, he goes with the flow and thats it. Listen to Kerry you have no idea what he is for from one day to the next. The only thing everyone DOES know for sure is he has bashed our troops for 30 years.

Exactly. How does he stand on "the issues". He's just a Bush hater who is trying to please his constituency of Bush haters. He's a hot-reader like John Edward (the psychic, not his ex running mate)...he watches to see which direction you're heading in, and then he runs over and pretends like he's been standing there the whole time.

Because HE IS!!! Try reading something other than the New York Times, or the Washington Post. Try Watching something other the Left Liberal Controlled New Media, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc.

Funny! When one is a consistent flip-flopper, does that kind of cancel itself out?

Because he flip-flops on political and government issues.

Red herring. He's not even running for office now. The name was given to him by Republicans, not "people" in general. People going to rallies for Bush were issued the cheap sandals and when cued, they enthusiastically flopped them for the cameras.
