Here is a simple way of creating shortcuts to any site you have saved in your favourites, or bookmarks if you are using Firefox.
Open your browser, but make it smaller so you can see part of your desktop, click on your favourites then select a link and hold down the right mouse button and drag it to the desktop.

Begin by minimizing any programs that you have open until you can see your full Desktop.
Then double click on the My Computer icon on your desktop until it opens.
Now double click on your (C:) drive until it opens up for you.
Then navigate through your drive until you find the file you want to create a Desktop shortcut for.
Application files usually have a .exe file extension, such as notepad.exe so do keep this in mind.
When the program application file is located, right click directly on the file.
From the menu that appears, select Send To > then select Desktop (create shortcut).
Windows will then place a shortcut to that program application directly on your Desktop for you.
You can use this tip to create shortcuts to individual Word Docs, Acrobat Files and Folders etc.
Note: This Technical Brief Will Work For All Operating Systems Including Windows XP

click and carry the article from the initiating menu which you rather want as a shortcut and drag and drop it on your very own laptop. it may do a shortcut. for the cyber web connections circulate to regulate panel (that must be on your very own laptop in case you create a shortcut lol) then to community connections and drag and drop the relationship you opt to apply onto the very own laptop.
