Testosterone is the male hormone. The female body contains testosterone, too, but not as much as the male body. This hormone controls all the physical characteristics, such as hair growth, muscles development, height etc. That's why guys are usually hairy, tall and have muscles, because their organysm contains testosterone.

When the female body contains a higher level of testosterone than the normal rate, that certain female probably has her body covered in hair and she's also more likely to develop muscles.

The male hormone that EVERYONE has, both male & female. If a female has more than normal, she will begin to grow hair. And the opposite for the male if he has less of it.
