How do you view them?

I view them as people who make extreme sacrifices to get things done. I appreciate all that they give up..... time with family and friends, time at home etc. Everything we buy has at one time been on a truck so truck drivers have a big hand in making the world go around.. so thanks to all of them.

My ex was a truck driver,... and couldn't keep his pants zipped or tell the truth if his life depended on it. If I had a dollar for every time he lied and cheated on me, I could retire wealthy. And I've seen many others just like him. BUT,... my husband is also a truck driver. And he's just not the same type of guy... if he's cheated on me, I don't know when or how. Cause I've paid close attention, and there's just nothing suspicious or inconsistent about what he does... he always answers his phone, is always home when he's scheduled to be,... if he ends up with some problem that delays him, he spends most of that time talking to me on the phone. And I know alot of drivers who are the same as him as well. Some fit the reputation,... others are just hard working guys trying to support their families. So... they're like all men really. Some are faithful and some are not.

I used to work at a trucking company where they did hauls from texas to louisiana. All the truck drivers, except one that had just got out of prison, were very very nice. Some of the men would sometimes act as if it had been a long time since they had talked to a girl though, and I thought that was a little creepy, but they were still nice.

Really hadn't thought about it before. I guess they're ok. Are you speaking about long haul drivers, or just drivers in general?
