Since Christmas is coming up: Last year I was working at Target, and so many people were putting either cash or gift cards into clear break apart ball ornanments that you can put up on the christmas tree, and to make it more fun, you get some puff paint, or something and design the ball and then either put in a small box with some tissue paper or wrap it in clear or festive cellophone paper or bags. I noticed that if the ball was decortated of some sort then the person recieving it seems to keep it as a sort of sentiment and they keep putting up the ball each season. It's like a gift in a gift.
Happy Holidays!

Perhaps this year you can instead find out where the person enjoys to shop and get them a gift card from that store? It's a little more personal (I walked the extra mile for you) than just handing out money.

Have you considered not giving money? But if you must, then perhaps wrap it creatively and include a very personal card. If you show that you are really thinking about them and love them, that will be the best gift ever.

Maybe do it like a treasure hunt. Write down or type a clue, and wrap it in a box. They go on to find the next clue and eventually leads them to the money. You can make as many or as few clues as you like.

purchase an inexpensive purse or wallet put the money inside & wrap it...i have in the past put $1 bills (to the amt that you are giving) and crinkling them slightly & putting them in a shirt box or such...the receiver gets to unwrap a gift...and its always the right color & size...

How about you put the money in a wallet, they will think the wallet is the gift.
