I graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Florida State about 2 years ago, and I still have not been able to find anything within that field of study.

You could go into almost any industry with that degree, but you will need to pay your dues meaning you will need to start at the bottom and work your way up. Look for entry level positions such as marketing assistant, financial assistant, junior analyst, etc. Visit FSU career center and talk to a counselor. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

There are several careers that you can pursue with a Business Administration degree, depending on what interests you more and on the skills you feel more comfortable. I would distinguish the corporate roles in two sections: Front of the house (e.g., sales, marketing) and back of the house (e.g., finance, purchasing, manufacturing, accounting). In either of these roles there should be opportunities for recent graduates of a business degree.

You should also think hard about what you like. If you like numbers then Finance/Accounting or even purchasing could work very well. If you like to interact with people a lot then sales should work for you. Also, if you are creative maybe a marketing role can be the right spot for you.

I hope this helps.

I too had the conflict while i replaced into taking my merchandising degree. yet then i come to understand that the version of those 2. An occasion is that merchandising works especially on its container yet for BA, you have each and everything to be on top of issues, to me, people who take BA ought to have sturdy time administration and priority objective placing. BA is like an Octopus, you should " hands on" on many stuff. besides, in basic terms make effective of who and what you opt to be in destiny :P
