I have the CD, although I have never seen Lord of the Rings or listened to the soundtrack until today. Many of the tracks kind of have lyrics but they sound more like drawn out voices in the background and in some of them are only in parts of the song. Most of the CD is just music.

I have two of the Lord of the Rings soundtracks, and they have both. Most are instrumental, but a few have someone singing. Some tracks are part even part instrumental and part vocals. But it's all very beautiful music, especially the first soundtrack that includes some vocals by Enya.
