How far along are you?
Brownish blood is okay. It is when it becomes bright red that you really need to worry.
I also had a miscarraige earlier this year. I know how worried you are right now.
You will want to call your doctor's office to let them know what is going on.
Good luck.

Hello, please dont worry too much honey if you misscarry once before you have such a high change of a normal pregnancy. My partner is pregnant now. Every month around about the time her period should have come she spots but only once. Every time we have gone to the doctor they are absolutly useless. If you go straight to the womens hospital or AE they will take you in and let you hear the heart rate and check you downstairs also. This was so reasurring as the first 3 months the doctors just shrugged it off and said there was nothing they could do! Please relax, they say that no pain or cramps and you are ok. Please keep your water up and eat well and dont lift anything heavy

I saw some blood @ week 31 at 2:00am and rushed to the ER! Turned out to be nothing serious (he explained what happened, I honestly don't know still) he put preassure in (which hurt like...) but the baby was fine, I was fine and the bleeding stopped. Rule of thumb: if you're pregnant and bleeding, don't wait for Yahoo! Answers, go to the emergency room!!!

Well, how far pregnant are you? If you are in your third trimester, then you definately shouldnt worry....but if you are in your first or second trimester, then i think you should call your doctor. Once you describe what is happening, your doctor will be able to tell you what is going on. When i was pregnant, this would sometimes happen to me, and i was really scared. My doctor told me that brown spotting is normal, especially if its around the time when you would regularly have your period, or if you have had sex in the past three days. But, you never can be satisfied until you hear it from your doctor....hope i could help!
