By indian culture when I meet my friend and his wife, I should shake my friend's hand only. By Arabian culture I can shake his hand + kissing his face. But I want to know about it in western cultures? will you kiss his wife too

Here in Canada, shake the hand of both man and wife. if I know them really well, a hug and a kiss would be appropriate....then go play hockey and have a beer.

Shake hands with both. Kiss the wife only if you are all close friends. Never kiss the man unless he is within your own culture group and it is ok.

Handshake for the husband, two cheek kiss for the wife. I`m in Montreal Canada. Maybe it`s just a Quebec thing.

In my country, Romania, Europe u shake hands with the guy and kiss his wife's hand :) its polite

Well, I just shake everyone's hand. At least that's what we do in Canada for the most part.
