Why do republicans and conservatives think they are the onlys being targeted on this thing?

Eh sorry I cant spell right this morning, I mean why do they think they are the only people being targeted on yahoo answers

I guess it's because, conservatism, since the 50's and even the 60's, has been decreasing more and more. Unfortunately, even though there are conservatives, there aren't a lot, and almost none on the computer. Why? Because they're traditional. They are against a lot of "trends" and "popular things." Conservatives' biggest issues are tradition, religion, and integrity. We are pro-life, pro-justice, pro-family, pro-religion, and most of all pro-American. We are for what's right. I can't understand why liberals dislike conservatives' viewpoints, but I know why conservatives dislike liberals' viewpoints. Everyone is trying to change our opinions, and that sure isn't right. We are the minority; liberals know it. Minorities are usually weak, because of their size. We might be small, but we sure aren't weak. I mean, if you want to have liberal viewpoints, have them, but please don't try to change a conservative youth's mind. I am an ultra-conservative. When I was younger, I knew I was a conservative, and some people didn't like it, so they tryed to change my mind, but little did they know they couldn't. I was the child who thought out everything very carefully and even did research before forming an opinion. That's why nobody could ever change it. Sure, I was open, but to me, my opinions were "right." They literally were. What was pretty funny, was that people would see a little 7 year-old girl trying to persuade a 40 year-old teacher why she was right. I mostly would leave teachers befuddled or most often, saying, "well...................," and eventually saying,"your opinions are based on your moral upbringings, mine are not." The point is, if everybody in this world were conservative, there would be no crime, and no corruption. Political parties are corrupt- Republican or Democrat, but in conservatism there is absolutely no corruption whatsoever, and liberals know that. Do you know how in the 30's and 40's children could walk around the block without having to worry about getting killed? Do you know why that is? Well, I'll tell you why. It's because, back then, like I said, people were way more conservative than even the most conservative person nowadays. In the 21st century, parents fear that their children will get hurt while walking home from school. Weren't things better back then? Yes, they were. Then you must agree with me that this country needs conservatism. Thank you.

This is a matter of ideology. It is always easier to recognize attacks against your own ideology. This is generally because most people do not really acknowledge that the other side even has a point. Both sides are pretty even in this area. Conservatives attack liberals and vise versa. Each side does not recognize what their side does as an attack because they agree with the action in general. One thing I do see though is that Conservatives often appear more willing to try and explain their positions while Liberals do not. However, as I said there is a fair amount of blame to go around. In the end the answer lies in the extremist nature of one sided ideologies. The simple fact is that extreme partisanship is bad no matter which side it is coming from. As long as you have extremists you will have blame constantly leveled at one side or the other, whether it's justified or not.

Since your a relative new member you do not know the history of conservative bashing on yahoo in general. We're finally fed up and fighting back which is why you might come to the conclusion that it's even handed or even leaning toward liberal bashing.

See computers are becoming less expensive so the internet isn't comprised of rich liberals any longer. Real working people of America are finally getting their voices heard.

EDIT: Case in point. It only took 15 seconds to get 2 thumbs down and all I stated was truth.

I'm not sure... I guess they assume that if they're getting violations it must be from opponents: the left. But I really think it's coming down to disrespect from both sides.
