I was at work, filing a few reports, getting ready to knock off for the day, my supervisor comes over to me, leans across my desk, offers his neck, and says...."is this cologne that you wear?" and then invited me for coffee after my shift...
He is Married, 3 kids, 10 years my senior.....attractive...
was he making a pass...or setting me up?

Either way, you are being set up. I would simply tell him you are busy. And continue to be busy.

I think if you like your supervisor as a person and are interested in getting to know him better, then go for coffee. It sounds like he was trying to find out what cologne you wear because he likes the scent, but so what if he was flirting? There is nothing wrong with a str8 guy wanting to be friends with a homosexual. You will find out quick enough if he is actually bi or gay and looking for more than just a cool guy to hang out with.

Sounds like the dude is "questioning"....perhaps a bit late in life, but it happens. He probably doesn't even consider it as making a pass.

Unless he is the only attractive dude in your town, be nice (he's your boss) but don't encourage it. Nothing worse than having a gay newbie sniffing around you.

If he is the only attractive dude in your town, get him drunk and liberate his a**!

If you went, was it business he discussed or things of pleasure? If it's the later, don't go again if you went. He's looking for a "play pretty" and possibly setting you up. Be careful.

probably a pass, you are after all a hottie :) but i'd decline. too many problems not to mention the morality issue........there's an old saying that's appropriate........." don't s.h.i.t where you eat"
