Again, i am going to say NOT pregnant. And the reason i say this is because in your last question you stated that it was a 'digital' pregnancy test. In digital pregnancy tests, you are supposed to rely on the words, and not the lines. Its normal for two lines to show up on the test stick of a digital pregnancy test, because the second line not only detects the pregnancy hormone HcG, but also LH, which is always present in som amount of quantity. Sorry if this gives your hopes up. But the whole reason they invented digital tests was so that you didn't have to try and figure out the lines.

Hiya. Same thing happened with me. I however, tested really early (approx 1 week after conception) and there was a definate but faint line there. I assumed cause it was so early that i found out, that there was a hint of pregnancy hormone but not a lot yet. The same day i had a pregnancy test done at the doctors and they confirmed it. I am 17 weeks pregnant now so i have found out about my pregnancy basically from day one. Seems ages. Anyway, do another or one at the doctors and you will know for sure. Good luck! x

Even a faint line is a line. There will not be even the slightest hint of a line for a negative result. You are pregnant. Of course, tests are not fool-proof, BUT a false negative is so much more likely than a false positive. Run to Walgreens, pick up another 2 pack of the same brand, take 1 today and 1 tomorrow (I know you're pregnant, but it sounds like you need some reassurance), also pick up a bottle of OTC prenatal vitamins and start taking those tonight. Your doctor won't probably see you until 6 weeks anyway so you need to start making the right choices independently now.

I've been told that the presence of a highly fluorescent band indicates you have been impregnated by an off-worlder. Not only are you pregnant, but you will have a whole herd- or is that gaggle? I can never keep it straight in my mind, anyhow, wait until the doc can confirm. You might be seeing a false-positive result. Are you trying to get pregnant? I'm available MWF at 7pm- although the travel arrangements could be difficult.
Good luck and congrats (or gosh, I am so sorry) - depends on you.

Well, I had the exact same thing happen to me. The second line was so light that I really didn't notice it untill I showed my husband and he pointed it out. I went the the doctor the next day and found out that I was 4 weeks pregnant. So, I would say... Congratulations. I believe that you are pregnant.
Good Luck!

Buy another test if you can't wait until Monday. False positives are rare but possible; even the box & instructions say so. But even if it is a faint line it probably means it detected the HcG hormone ('pregnancy' hormone) and that you most likely are pregnant; but I would still buy another test. Good luck!

Congrats !! You are pregnant !! The line being light probably just means that you are in the very early stages of pregnancy. Good luck!

Any line means that you are pregnant. The reason that it is faint is because your beta HcG hormone (the main pregnancy hormone) isn't in high concentration yet. The levels are low during early pregnancy. A good site to check out is:

Hope that helps.

It means that you may be early on, or that your pregnancy hormones have not accumulated full strength yet (the test is based on measuring hcg.) But a faint line is still a line... congratulations!
