I have this guy friend whom i proposed to recently. He trned me down. But since then he has been flirting with me like crazy and says that he is willing to reconsider. However i am not interested anymore and regret ever havin proposed to him. anyways i don know why he is acting so strangely. I don know if he thinks it cute or sexy but i find his behaviour childish at best and really irritating of late. We have never been romantically involved before.
why he is acting this way and how do i tell him that its putting me off ?

You caught him off guard. Why would you propose to someone you haven't been romantically involved with????
I would have said no also. You have to have a relationship with someone before marriage.... friendship isn't it.
You do something totally off the wall and now he is responding to you, now he knows you are interested.... Of course he is acting up, you have pumped up his ego, you have made him feel attractive and wanted.
You need to know a person intimately before you consider something as serious as marriage, he is trying to get to know you this way, That is all he is doing...
Sometimes you get what you ask for.
You need to talk to him and tell him it was a mistake and that you are not interested in him.. Do not be cruel.. you created this monster yourself.....

maybe he's really starting to reconsider because he was just shocked at first so he turned you down. and you are regretting because you feel like he's using that to tease you. but if you really don't like him anymore. just tell him the truth that you are irritated and wish he could stop his childish acts because you don't think that it is funny.
