I know exactly what you mean, and what really really bugs me, I always apologise for not being in touch, whats that all about, they never apologise to me, as they didn't get in touch either. I can't even say I've stopped doing it, as I haven't.
I sometimes think to myself, why do I bother!!! One day I might stop.

Yes all the time. They rely on me for every little thing. If I don't make the effort then no-body else will and things will be left up in the air. Its because everyone says that I am reliable, trust worthy and when they are out with me they always have a good time, a laugh and they all love me. But if this is the case maybe they should surprise me and take me out and call me first every now and then. Having said that they are my friends and I love them ALL without a doubt :-)

Life is a rich painting, which when the canvas becomes thread bare needs mending. Time to root out the new thread me thinks and bin the manky old stuff.
Better a good friend than, a load of hangers on.

Probably the internal timer you use to want to see somebody is a bit shorter than theirs. You will always want contact before them.. If you have a good time when you do meet, whats the problem?

All my mates now have partners and are all settling down.their idea of a banging saturday night is a night watching the x factor.
As long as they come out and are not ignoring you I would not worry.
