= log 15 / log 17
= 1∙176 912 59 / 1∙230 448 921

well we know 15 goes once into 17
you have 2 remaining and you know it does not go evenly and it is less than 2
it is 1.1 something with 5 remaing
5 goes inot 15 slightly more than 3 that is 45
so it is 1.13
and it is infinet 5 from there on
1.1333333

there are logrithm tables...
there u can find the values for log15 and log17
then substarct the values..
