I'm supposed to start my period in 3 days. My husband and I had unprotected sex around the time I ovulated. When I peed this morning this slimy stuff sort of like geletin was on the t.p when I wiped. It may be because I might be about to start my period in a few days but my rings are tighter and I've been feeling a little nauseus lately. This gelatin stuff has never happened before. Also, I have to wear a pantyliner because it seems like I have a lot of "wetness" type discharge. If anyone has been pregnant and experienced this let me know please? I haven't taken a test because I haven't missed my period. Its due in 3 days.

If you are due to start in 3 days, I can't imagine that is ovulation discharge. It could be due to a rise in hormones at the end of your cycle. I have that happen almost every cycle.

However, you could very well be preggo. If you don't start when you are due, take a test.

There are a few things that I can think of that could lead to that.. the onset of your period is one.. pregnancy might be a small chance but I have been pregnant 5 times and never had the "slime" the wetness happens for some women during pregnancy when the pressure of the baby rests on the bladder and you may have some "leakage". rings feeling tighter could be onset of period, the water weight we women are lucky to have every month. LOL
I know I am in no way helping you here so all I can really tell you is if you really think there is a chance you might be pregnant then by all means buy a test... if the test comes back positive and you get your period but the "slime" doesnt go away, you might want to check with your doctor.. it might be a small chance of a yeast infection. The symptoms of a yeast infection are:
vaginal itching
vaginal burning
vaginal irritation
painful urination
painful sexual intercourse
odorless vaginal discharge (may be thick whitish-gray and cottage-cheese-like or may be watery in consistency) Hopefully I was a little helpful :)

I have never been pregnant but I am in school now premed. Don't rule out pregnancy I am no expert and I don't want to say hey your wrong. A number of things it can be:

1. PMS
2. Yeast Infection (These don't always itch you can have one and would never know it except for the discharge because it could be a mild infection. If the discharge is thick and a white or yellowish color and has a smell to it then ask your obgyn because its probably a yeast infection.)
3. You do have glands inside your vagina and your cervix that make small amounts of fluids and it exits your vagina every day to carry out old cells that line your vagina. It is your bodys way of keeping your vagina healthy. It is usually clear or milky looking and there is no smell.
4. The discharge is thicker when you're ovulating, when your brestfeeding, or when you're sexually excited.
5. Now if it is stained with blood then it could be vaginitis but from what you described it doesn't sound like it.

I hope this helps but maybe you should get a home pregnancy test to settle your worries or talk to your Obgyn

It sounds like ovulation dicharge, BUT I would take a test. You know your body better than anyone else. I never experienced "slimy stuff" while pregnant but everyone is different. You could be pregnant. I recommend the First Response test. I always had the best results with those.
