newscasters/others say Chil-aye, for Chile, (the country), and yah-mah for llama?
Chili is in a bowl, and yama maybe is a child's way for saying "mama" in some cases...
Just a pet peeve of mine (wasted 5 points), sorry.

I live in Spain and find it difficult to accept the Tourists that come here and try pronouncing Spanish correctly, its so annoying, I am English but lived here for over 4 years and have a good knowledge of the Spanish language, I'm not perfectly fluent yet, but I am fairly good, I do at least know how to pronounce Spanish correctly. So I know what you mean.

people pronounce words differently depending on location. Like "Q ba" and "Kuba" for Cuba

till you just mentioned it I had no idea that Chili was pronounced differently from the spicy stuff in a bowl.

you cant complian about the taco benders hector will get upset and commplian he was affinded.he swam the river to get here now thy own the phaqin place. so thy think.morality is a doulble edge sword.and the handle is in there hands.we americans have to conform to there fillings/needs/wants/language/music/and ect... let us go take over there country.and do in return. our local flie market is now like going to mexico. and its in fla. the govm,lets it happen to collect taxes from them/s.s.money thy will never see.
