Germany does because it doesnt have to worry about eviromental destructions. We should open the border slowly over time with Mexico and Canada to allow people, goods, semi, cars to go as they come and please. Mexico got a long way to go before that would occur with the narco lords running border towns, and immigration is bad in Germany because they make it hard for people Outside the EU to become citizens and pratice passive discrimination that is wrong.

I've been to Germany while I was in the service, and they have a bigger immigration problem than we have.
Neither nation does a great job with its borders. BUT, the USA does a slightly better job. We have border agents, small sections of fence, etc. Germany has minimal border security.
