Mexico has Carlos Slim running the cell, telephone network, and gourges mexicans more for phone than countries with Similar incomes like South Africa and Russia. Want to improve telecommunications in Mexico break up Carlos Slim Temex companies, and sell different parts of his company to foreign or domestic investors. Its crony Captialism like this that drives the large black market in Mexican telecommunication industry. Mexico should have more people with Cell phones than they do now, and its not because the people are too poor to own a cell phone they cost like 20 dollars used. Just Carlos Slims screws all with ripoff cell mintue rates. Those profits never used to build instructure in Mexico it goes to buying a Porshe or Ferrari to pay off a goverment offical for access to goverment protected markets.
