last night I went to the movies. I waited 2 hours for my friend- even called her twice (she said she was on her way)- and she never showed. I waited at the mall for 2 hours alone for her to show. She knows I HATE being alone. My mother wants to contact her parents. But.. her parents are BOTH deaf. What would you do in my situation?

well, I must commend you on resisting the urge of calling your friend while you were angry....a wise move to let yourself settle down.
I'm sorry your friend stood you up twice. And i seems your friend has not contacted you in an effort to offer an apology or explanantion.
When you feel ready to talk to her, give her a call, and in a loving way, explain to her that you were dissapointed when she didn't show...twice. Perhaps when you call, she may offer an explanantion, or at least an apology.
You sound like a sincere and genuinely good-hearted person, she is fortunate to have a friend like yourself. In the end, just be the loving and forgiving friend that you sound like. Hopefully she'll realize that she let her very good friend down, and that it hurts to be stood up. Maybe then she'll refrain from pulling this kind of a stunt again.

good luck:)

I would ask her why she never showed. It looks to me as if she is using you as an excuse to get out of the house. Who needs friends like this? Do not let her run over you like this. If she has a ligitimate reason for not showing fine, but do not let her come up with some off the wall reason for not showing. Nip it in the bud while you can because more than likely it will only get worse.

1st id calm down. I know its hard, but no one will listen if u r screaming at them. Then u need to plan what u r going to say to ur friend.
Basicall u need to find out where she was, why she lied, and why she didnt say she wasnt coming.
If u plan ur questions then u can steer the conversation and u wont lose track of what u want. Good Luck

Give her a day or two to call you. That will also give you time to cool down (I'd be raging too!!). If she doesn't bother calling, call her and ask what happened.

I will call her and let her know what she did was very rude. And you are disappointed in her, and as a friend she let you down. Give her a change to explain and then tell her please lets not let this happen again. And move on.

I wouldn't call her a friend. Actually I wouldn't have anymore to do with her. She may have put you in jeapardy by leaving you alone. A friend doesn't put you in harms way.
