Download this useful IE7 tweak which will give you the menu back on top again http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/ie7-menu-tweak/ie7menutoptweak.html

You will then get the Edit back on top again where you can copy/paste again.

It's too late. You were supposed to recover your files before you restored. When you restored you overwrote the file system. The one thing you really needed to let alone so the recovery software could do its job. It's still possible to recover some files using other methods but you'll have to pack up the hard drive and send it to a recovery specialist. It could cost thousands of dollars and you won't get everything back. It's probably not worth the cost. I feel for your loss. People have their whole lives on their computers. Precious few take the time to protect their digital treasures. - Dominic

Use the keyboard shortcuts for the moment.. highlight text you want to copy.. then `ctrl+c' to paste the same `ctrl+v' and best to install a decent and stable browser like Firefox
