Living on 12 acres of woodlands, I always have problems with ants even in the house and the mail box. What has worked by far the best for me is Terro Ant Killer II. It comes in a small container with detachable cardboard dots to place the liquid upon and the worker ants carry it back to the home which kills the entire colony when they eat it. The cardboard dots take up a space of one inch by one inch with no odor or harm to you. It's something I do every Spring and sometimes once again during the Summer.

I buy it in the grocery store so you should be able to purchase it or a similar product wherever you shop. The key is for the worker ants to take it home with them. It does take a few days for it to kill them off so don't worry if 2 or 3 days later they are still there. I don't think it's more then $5.00.

Ants become a nuisance when they enter homes. Instead of spending money on costly pest control, you can get rid of ants by removing the food source and using soap water. I found the information at http://www.pests.in

You don't need to burn anything. Just find where they are coming in and place a few drops of peppermint oil there. There are so many of them, you won't kill them, just deter them from moving in.

just first take the time to find out where they are coming in at usually there will be a line of them moving eggs and they have scouts out looking for food. If you can find out where they are entering from, just make a line of snuff they wont cross it.
