I would recommend starting the auction on Dec 7 for 7 days so it ends Dec 14. This will allow time for shipping and it will end right when people are starting to get desperate! It's hard to say what is exactly the best time. It depends mostly on if they come out with more of them before the holidays. I am expecting a large number of them to be available on "black Friday" which will mostly be bought by ebayers at 6am. So if the market is flooded on ebay the price may drop. Right now, people seem to be waiting to see if they can get one in a store for retail price. Once people realize they won't be able to get it in time for Christmas the prices on ebay will start to rise.

If you have an Elmo that you do not need for your own child, why not donate it to your local toy drive and put a smile on a poor child's face, instead of trying to make extra money off it. If everyone in the world thought about others who are less fortunate this world would be a much nicer place to live. But then again that's just my own opinion.

Wait as long as you can, but keep on mind shipping time. The closer to Christmas, the longer it takes, unless you do an overnight shipping. But I did an overnight ship a couple of years ago and it took 4 days to get there.

Well you've got to figure that now is when a lot of people are starting to look for Christmas presents. You've also got to figure if you wait too much longer it might not make it there for Christmas. Also if you sell it now, you'll have the money by Christmas so that you can do shopping.

TO EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE AN ELMO YET:
Some stores are doing Pre-Sales. Basically you can pay for your Elmo and they guarantee it will arrive by Christmas at their regular price of 39.99. They did it here (Puerto Rico) and the shipment arrived on Wednesday. I know because my cousin ordered one and I'm taking her on Sunday to get it from KB Toys. So before shelling out $150+ check with your local toy stores to see if they have any other shipments coming in. Good luck to everyone!

i think of which you need to set your cost at $one hundred fifty.00 and record them now. because of the numerous TMX Elmo's on eBay and Craigslist i've got projected $one hundred fifty.00 to be the cost ceiling which you would be able to get now or later counting on once you choose your cash.

Wait till the last horn blows. You should turn an impressive profit if you wait it out to the very last minute.
