Yes I quite agree. It puzzles me why, when you want a - say - beef sandwich, you have to have half of someones' allotment in with it too, and WHY OH WHY do that put that tasteless bloody "mayonnaise" in everything (apart to make it feel damp and therefore kid you it's that much fresher than it really is!)?
Then people wonder why I won't waste my money on them when you can make a mountain of them at home for the same money AND you know what's in them !!!

Although you expressed your feelings on the items included in most sandwiches, I prefer to say "rabbit food" in order to maintain a sense of decorum on a public board. I too dislike rabbit food on sandwiches, burgers, etc. Of course, if you are buying pre-packaged, it is more difficult. If you are ordering, tell them you want it "plain" but since some servers do not understand what "plain" means, you may have to tell them. For example, I once ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came with only the hamburger on it. I asked where the bacon and cheese went and was informed that I ordered it "plain". If I had wanted only the beef, don't they think I would have ordered a hamburger and not a bacon cheeseburger? Now I am very specific: I'll have a bacon cheeseburger plain, which means a bun with the hamburger, bacon, and cheese. No bunny food.
Anyway, I hope you find what you are looking for.

i'm precisely the choice. no longer all persons are culinary whizzes or have the time to make our very own sandwiches, and the shop offered sandwiches consistently style nicer than any of the laughable tries i've got made at homestead! the sole reason i might ever make my very own is using the fact it is greater low fee. I hate Subway for the desirable comparable reason - if I ought to pass with my very own aspects i might besides make it myself! I have no clue no count if it is somewhat useful to place gherkins right into a prawn mayo or despite, or which of the 20 different breads they have is going to be the proper - yet i comprehend that if i purchase the sandwich marked "Tuna Savoury" or "Ham Salad" off the shelf in a common sandwich shop, it is going to style ok. For what it is somewhat worth, i think of Greggs (and The Bakers Oven) make the nicest sandwiches by potential of a approaches. maximum different places are the two enormously overpriced or a approaches too stingy with the aspects. i desire substitute from £3 for my lunch, and for that I assume a quite filling sandwich, plus crisps or fruit, AND a delicate drink or cup of tea/coffee. some places have the cheek to fee 3 quid merely for a sandwich!

Buy a Tesco Value sandwich. About as tasty as a mouth full of cold ashes. Limp white bread, almost transparent slice of cheap processed sh*it ham, margarine, and they don't even bother to cut it in half. Fu*cking Vile.

I know! This hacks me off too. I hate all the salade stuff and sauces u get in pre packaged sarnies. They should make plain filled ones for people like us with the simple tastes.

I hate those simple pre-packed sandwiches with only meat and cheese. I want some spread and greenery on it. I'm paying for it after all!

Marks and spencers have the best range of pre-packed sandwiches and they do have some without all the s*h*i*t on them.

Don't buy a ready made sandwich. Make your own, its cheaper and you know what's in it. If you buy a sandwich which contains what yours appear to contain you are obviously shopping in some really seedy unsavoury places.

Get off your rear and instead of complaining then make your own or go to a sandwich shop where they make it how you like it.
