That really depends on what you are interested in. I like animals so I would do a report on something like the following
* Squirrels or possums or lions or killer whales or bees or horses or fish (pick an animal any animal)
or something like
* How earthworms help or how bees make honey
* Why are some animals endangered
Or think of something you really want to know about...
* What will the future be like with water restrictions
* Where did some of our traditions originate from (like the marriage or christening ceremonies)
* Or you could study up a famous person
* Or learn about a famous city somewhere in the world
* Or what about finding out about a country like New Zealand (yay!) or Egypt or Iran etc
* Do a study on different foods that people eat
* Or study natural things like Volcanoes or caves or deserts
* Or techinical things like movie special effects or computer viruses or how a car engine works
* Dinosaurs is always a popular choice
* Black holes in space or the planets and stars and galaxys
