I'm thinking of getting the new mac laptop (the 15 inch MacBook Pro) and would like some comments on how it runs, some advantages and disadvantages. I've been useing a PC all my life, but uased macs for a seven day computer course in photoshop, so I would also like to know what some of the larger changes are.
Also, PLEASE don't mention the mightymouse. I know all about it, and actually like that feature.

Well the biggest change will be to your bank account, the cheapest MacBook Pro is $1999. If you are looking for video type stuff, the Mac is better, however if you like gaming, you will probably be a little disappointed. Honestly, the biggest thing against the MacBook Pro is you simply are not getting your money's worth as far as hardware for the price, but if you liked the Mac when you used it, and you have the money to spend, you will probably not be disappointed.

a friend of mine bought one and was down at the shop and calling everyday for 3 weeks i'm not a mac person but i helped him get everything going . i like the macbook and if i could afford to spend a lot of money on something thats what i would get .then i could ditch my old g3
