They are being humorous, silly as it is, but someone always tells them off, or answers it very seriously, as if they can't tell it was joking around question!
Why don't we realize that it's just a joke? Do you think we all need to lighten up sometimes?

"dramateen" and "robert c"...look up my other questions and answers, and you'll see that this is a not a "pointless question". I really do think that sometimes we take the silly, fun questions too seriously, when the person was really giving us a laugh. I feel that we should stop and appreciate a little humor; as the person asking the ridiculous question was really being funny!

lol, great point jojo, you smart little monkey. That is probably my #1 problem with yahoo answers, people being too serious wtih an obvious joke.

I think that most people do realize when things are jokes and what not, but if you get the wrong question, on the wrong day, at the wrong time.... poof instant explosion....then you get the people telling other people off.. getting angry etc.....even though in the back of their mind, they know it was in jest. HOWEVER... sometimes people answer things seriously because in their minds, they want to help or even though it seems outlandish... my dog is having sex with me,,,etc.... they don't want to hurt that person just in case it happens to be the truth.... or they are just dumber than a box of rocks...lol

There is always someone who is so full of their own importance or who is so overwhelmed by their own personal hobby-horses that they cannot see when a question was not posed seriously.
When all is said and done - I am fairly sure that the people who pose the daft questions do so just to get a rise out of these self same people.
I try to stick to my mother's maxim - ask a stupid question - get a stupid answer.

i know like my best friend told this girl Crystal in my class (they both had pretty much the same outfit on) like my outfit is like totally better than yours even with totallys and the likes theis girl can never take a joke she always takes it wrong she either gets like really really mad or goes off in a corner and cries about it
