John Kerry should retire to Massachusetts and run his Waffle House! Of course he just recently completely alienated all the potential customers from the military!

No...I'm not a John Kerry fan but this is America and he has the right to say what he wants. He just has to be willing to accept the consequences of what he says.

That issue is just about dead.
Your comparison of Kerry to Jane Fonda is exaggerated.

The Bush Administration did not study and do their homework. They thought it would be piece of cake.
When Bush administration started beating the drum for this WAR.
Saddam had Bio Weapons, Saddam had Chemical Weapons. If SADDAM does not have ATOMIC WEAPONS then he is right on the verge of developing them.
The Iraqi people were going to greet us as LIBERATORS.

That I didn't know that there were various armed to the teeth ethnic factions with centuries old animosities in IRAQ is one thing.
THAT THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION didn't is another.

They didn't do their homework.

Or they just closed their eyes to the facts and decided to go in on the word of a shady character...CHALABI.

quotes from link
"Chalabi is a controversial figure for many reasons. In the lead-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, under his guidance the INC provided a major portion of the information on which U.S. Intelligence based its condemnation of Saddam Hussein, including reports of weapons of mass destruction and alleged ties to al-Qaeda. Much of this information has turned out to be false. That, combined with the fact that Chalabi subsequently gloated about the impact that their falsifications had in an interview with the British Sunday Telegraph, led to a falling out between him and the United States."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmed_Chalabi

"It was Chalabi who provided crucial intelligence on Iraqi weaponry to justify the invasion, almost all of which turned out to be false, and laid out a rosy scenario about the country's readiness for an American strike against Saddam that led the nation's leaders to predict -- and apparently even believe -- that they would be greeted as liberators."

THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION ACTUALLY BOUGHT THAT CRAP?
And he keeps repeating...STAY THE COURSE STAY THE COURSE.
Like a WHITE ZOMBIE AUTOMATON.
And not only did he not do his homework.
He is too stubborn to let anybody give him the answers.

And....
No...John Kerry should not resign.

First of all he did not bash the troops, read the artical, he was making a joke aimed at Bush, calling the war stupid. As far as resigning thats up to his constituancy, they elected him and when hes up for re election thats when they will decide. He represents his state not the US of A
