Black Cohosh, Reloro, Evening Primrose, St John's Wort.
Reloro and St John's Wort are pretty much the same, they are for stress, but my girlfriend is on the reloro and she said it's down right amazing along with the black cohosh. Good Luck

If you're in the UK, pop down to your nearest Holland & Barrett shop and buy a product called "Flash Fighters" that they make themselves. Take three tablets per day (morning, mid-afternoon and evening), and within a month you'll find that most of your symptoms either disappear or are extremely tolerable. I've tried all sorts of herbs over the past five years, and I've found "Flash Fighters" to work best for me. Note that some women find that it takes up to 2 months for herbal suppliments to make a difference with symptoms, so be patient and give it time. Also, cut out as much sugar as you can in your diet because that really brings on hotflushes and nightsweats for me!
Good luck!

Soy is being reported as unhealthy, so I would stay away from that. Most of these answers mention phytoestrogens, which will solve only half of your problem, and only if you need estrogen replacement. Two-thirds of women do NOT need supplemental estrogen... we carry it in our fat cells, make it in our adrenals... Many women have enough estrogen to last them well into their 80's!
Look into natural progesterone cream. Progesterone is the precursor to all the sex hormones, and will balance ALL of them, including your estrogen levels. Incidentally, progesterone and progestin are two VERY different creatures!!
Research about Estrogen Dominance.
A great place to start is with a book called "Hormone Balance Made Simple" by Dr. John Lee, who is credited with starting estrogen dominance research. You can also read articles on his site at http://www.johnleemd.com
Synthetic HRT is poison, and in my opinion should be banned. No woman should ever have to go thru the side effects and health problems associated with them!!

Natural estrogen promoters include anise, black cohosh, fennel, raspeberry, sage, unicorn root, wild yam root and soybean products.
Hops and valerian root help calm the body down and promote restful sleep.
Gotu cola, black cohosh, red clover, and dong quai relieve hot flashes, vaginal dryness and depression.
St. John's wort is valuable if you suffer from anxiety or depression.

Soy products
I drink soy milk daily.
I eat tofu and cook with it daily.
It is amazing. Since 1996 I have had only one hot flash. Also, healthy eating....no processed foods, or sugar--
No soft drinks.
It is amazing what nutritional therapy can do. It is all in what you eat in how you feel.

Wow. I wish you wellness. I know this must be hard. I am younger and it sort of seems difficult. Anyway, I can only think of good old chamomile tea. But I am sure it will help relax you.
