First of all take into account that nothing is impossible ;on the other hand do you think we are the sole inhabited planet in so many Universes ? When there are millions of...Galaxies, contain ing millions of Stars and 5llions of Planets, why, some of them do
contain a logical life form....! And why shouldn't have been advan ced in a way to minimize distances and exceeding our civilization
???
Do you think US Pentagon hasn't caught some of them, studied them and...manufactured replicas ? Do you think they'd come out
revealing people about their break through??????????
Why not being tolerant and accepting-even-the-theoretically--im possible????
(we'll all feel much better!)
Ciao.......John-John.

So far we've seen no verifiable evidence of other sentient species. That said, I believe with some certainty that somewhere in our galaxy at some past, present, or future time, a sentient species did/does/will exist.
Why haven't we heard from them?
Perhaps they are not technologically advanced enough to be heard. They may be mastering stone knives right now, or experiencing their own Rennaisance.
Perhaps they are here right now. Any species sufficiently advanced to travel interstellar distances would be able to hide or masquerade with ease. That Boeing 737 that just flew by may be a surveillance craft.
Perhaps they are so far away they will never notice us and vice versa.
Perhaps they existed a million years ago and died out.
Perhaps they will exist a million years from now.
It is really impossible to know for sure.
The Drake Equation suggests that there is sentient life out there. The Fermi Paradox casts doubt. Play around with the calculation form at the second link and see what you think.

sorry fred but its an advert for the sci-fi channel, personally I think that most UFOs are simply advanced aircraft (the Stealth fighter design is 30 years old so state of the art stuff must be very futuristic looking). Even so I am sure that Alien craft are a possibility.I`ve never seen one myself but my mate swears hes seen a structured craft (a saucer) at close quarters...so who knows?

Unidentified Flying Objects,to be exact.
I have read every book on aliens written.
People think they are fake, but truth is,they're real.
(UFO? Flying Saucer? Same difference)
I've seen one,and it was a sleek metallic figure.

UFO stands for unidentified flying object, which means they could be anything, but we haven't found out what yet, so by definition we will never identify what a UFO is as it would then become an IFO!

UFO's are just *exactly* what their name implies: Unidentified Flying Objects. As such they could be anything that you mentioned, or even some sort of strange, unknown atmospheric phenomena. The key word to understand is *Unidentified* âº

ufo's, as the name implies, mean unidentified flying objects..science and pseudoscience have both interpretations to these objects..
as science says this is an hoax, pseudosciences say this is in fact, a spacecraft controlled by another being from another world..
investigators around the globe haven't testified if these objects are true or hoax but some people confirmed they have sightings..
sometimes, these sightings are made by their imagination, by spotlights, or by twinkling stars and other astronomical objects..
if they truly exists, i wonder how we can talk to and understand "aliens"..but surely, as no concrete evidences have been found, it is best to believe in our own faith..

Mostly they delusions (some mass delusions) - others haven't been explained (yet).
No need to start a cult, conspiracy theory or make plans for world/universe domination, though.
