no cats go into heat instead. its scary to watch a 6 month old kitten go into heat. but my baby is fixed now too

yes, females of many species have menstrual cycles... in dogs they call it being in heat. They actually do sell doggie diapers, etc for that time for the animal, but it is very difficult to keep them wearing it. If your cat is fixed, then she will not have a cycle and you lucked out. My current dog is fixed and I thank God for that, because it can be very messy.

Most mammals go into "heat" only occasionally, not monthlly. It is different than with human females. Don't worry, but she will be crying to get out if she is not fixed.

Cats do if they are not fixed. You wont see them bleed much as they are very clean animals and lick themselves if they feel the blood coming out.

They make doggy diapers for pets 'in-heat'. And yes, they do get perios, but only 2 weeks out of the year i believe.

Dogs get periods. So do monkeys. My aunt breeds schnauzers and often diapers her female dog when she's on her period. Strange, but true..

cats and dogs go into heat. the only animal that i know of is female sheep, i don't know the frequency of it tho.

they (the cats) dont have period just when they are ready for kid making. monkeys have period like we do and they lick themselves!!!
