Some things are supposed to be easy but are harder than they seem. People are afraid of failing at something"easy", so they are reluctant to try.
(In your sentence, "things" is a plural word, so it should be written ......things that ARE easy to do.)

I dunno about people but for me it's just that I psych myself out. I keep telling myself that it's to hard and if I do it someone might laugh at me and I tell myself that I'll fail. All really bad things but generally it's usually the first thought that pops into my head when making decisions then I come to my sense and say what the hell and just go for it.
