Sue him! It should have been in working order when he sold it to you, or he should ave pointed out any defects.

I'm assuming this was a used vehicle. Was it presented as "As is" or did you get a warranty with it? If you got a warranty, how long did it last? If 3 months or less, you're out of luck because the time has elapsed. The fact that you parked it notwithstanding. You should have known the problems BEFORE purchase, not 3 months down the road. So the dealer is right, not his problem.

depends on how much you paid for the car, a dealer only has to give you a warranty if you pay more than a grand you would get at least 3 months warranty ,anything less then that and you dont normally get one as it will depend on the dealer, so you might be out of warranty anyway, the only other thing you can do is threaten him with trading standards, the only problem with that is did you sign a sold as seen receipt if so you dont have a leg to stand on.

Depends on the dealer and on his stock situation but expect to be shocked.. He may do a trade if he values your business enough but dont count on a good deal. Especially in newer cars depreciation will kill you.You will probably lose at least 2-3 years worth of value from the car because you didn't pay close enough attention to what you wanted. that probaly translates to 5k of that 25 k if it was new

If it was a car dealer then check the contract, if you bought it privately I'm afraid he's right, sold as seen!
If it was a car sales place you got it from I'd threaten to report him, not sure who to but I'm sure someone will know!

The phrase "not my problem any more" kind of leads one to believe that the dealer considered this car a problem at one time, I suppose you should at least talk to an attorney and get the legal slant on this. Good luck.

Your broken English is hard to fully understand but is sound as if you were taken. Try small claims court but if the car had the sticker on the window no Warranty as is, your probably stuck.

Ring your local Council and ask for Trading Standards. They will advise you of your rights, and will even send a sample letter for you to copy.

Report him to DVLA for selling cars that were clearly not in a roadworthy condition.
Then report him to trading standards for selling miss selling cars, and for selling items that aren't of saleable quality.
