Clean the ceiling fans in my cathedral ceiling, wash windows inside and out, wash and polish kitchen cabinets. That's about it. I can handle the rest. I would pay you $10 an hour if you worked consistently and did not loiter or chit-chat and if you did a thorough job.

On a bi-weekly basis:
Scrub the bathrooms (sink, tub, toilet, floors, mirrors, counters), I have 2.5 baths
Change bedding (3 beds)
Damp mop all floors (whole house is hardwood)
Dust all furniture
Scrub the kitchen (sink, cooktop, counters, wipe down appliances)
Vacuum all area rugs

My house is about 2800 square feet, and my cleaning lady does this in about 3.5 hours for $45.

On an annual basis, I would be willing to pay (and have paid) about $250 for:
Wiping down all woodwork (baseboard, casing, tops of windows and doors, the doors themselves)
Moving furniture to dust walls, floors and woodwork
Dusting down all walls
Clean all ceiling fans and light fixtures
Vacuum out all furniture and lampshades
Wash and dust my vase collection, including glass shelves
Wash down the fronts of cabinets
Clean inside of refrigerator

I would have you do all the vaccuuming, sweeping and mopping ( on your hands and knees so you can get under the cabinets fridge and stove), scrub the bathroom and wash the windows. If my oven needed cleaned I would have you do that too. I would pay $12 an hour.

I cleaned professionally for 14 years and I would say I did more kitchens and baths then any other room in the house. I made 10.00 and hour (which they supplied the cleaning products).

My wife and her crew would charge you $350.00 for a deep cleaning, this includes the fridge, moving it. Taking apart the kitchen range, the toilet and all baths walls. No basements, no garages. In and out in seven hours. Includes you, no help wanted.
