i feel that there is more to it....why do i feel this way and is it only just a catch up

If you really do feel nervouse, then dont meet him alone. Take someone that you do trust with you. If he doesnt like that then drop him. He wont try anything stupid if there's someone watching your back. Also, why dont you determin the terms of the catch up - i.e. in a quite resturant so that if u raise ur voice everyone will see what he is doing. hope this helps
