My daughter does the same thing and she's 4. She does it at night and it sounds like nails down a chalk board. I took her to the dentist and she said it is a completely normal process. Don't worry. They are baby teeth.

My second little boy(I have 3 boys)grinded his teeth,so I gave him a wet washcloth to chew on.It helped some but he still grinds his teeth at night and he's now 5 years old.Good Luck!

This is something every child does when the teeth starts growing. Only thing is that you can attract her attention to something else (toys etc) by which this can be minimised.

she's probably starting to get her molar teeth...they seem to grind, to help them cut through the gums.

you really can't. her teeth are new and she's learning what they do. if you stop her, she will not be learning what she needs to know
