On December 26th, 2004 at 0059 GMT a massive earthquake measuring 9.3 on the Richter scale ripped apart the sea floor off the coast of northwest Sumatra.
Massive waves traveled thousands of kms across the Indian Ocean killing more than 2,00,000 people across the countries of Thailand, India, Srilanka.
