i don't know what "hit" is, but this is a surefire way to get rid of roaches...get some powdered boric acid (cheap at walmart) mix it 50-50 with powdered sugar. spread/sprinkle it everywhere you've seen roaches, and under the kitchen sink cabinet...dark places, etc. they roll around in it, and when they go back to the nest, all the others eat it off the ones who brought it to the nest, and they all die. make sure that pets and kids can't get to it and accidentally eat it!! this works for ants too. i've used this method in some nasty roach infested houses, and it works so great. you might even be able to buy it with powdered sugar in it already...check the label. good luck with this.

A-1 Pest control garuantees to solve your roach problem or they will spray again for free. They will rid you of roachs in most cases in 24 hours, however if you live in an apartment complex or trailer park then you may have a hard time getting rid of roachs unless all of the apartments or trailers are sprayed at the same time. If only one is sprayed then the roachs only move to the next apartment or trailer and will soon return.

Boric acid powder ..sprinkle it behind the fridge and stove and in the cabinets
There is a mixture I swear by...Roach Proof....its a powder..
Bengal roach spray works great as does Raid.
When you see roaches in your house..keep a spray handy and spray them....they will show you their nest....spray doorways and the floor at night.....bomb your house to see if you can get rid of most of them..only shut off the gas and the pilot light before bombing.
If you do these quick things you will never have roaches infest your home.
Remember to wipe things down every day. Leave no food out...close cereal boxes tight.......get the garbage out of your house at night....damp mop floors and vaccum carpets for food. ....check the seals on your fridge so that they cannot get into it.
A roach can live off of 1 fingerprint for 6 weeks....
So stay clean.....and fill all holes you can find around pipes.

Baits have come a long way in cockroach control. Cleanliness is a necessity, but it isn't always enough. If you live in an apartment, you will always be new infestations through the walls if your neighbor isn't using control procedures themselves. They can also come in via grocery bags, boxes, suitcases, etc.
There are several roach species that infest houses. All can be controlled with baits that can be purchased at your local grocery store.

Fill something like bottle caps or small ash trays with borax acid and an little sugar. Place them behind toilet, in cabinets with water pipes or other inconspicuous places where they cannot be reached by children or animals. Replace about every six months. It works great for me and I live in South Florida.

Some pest controls spray water mixed with insecticide
to keep coming back You can try them and use Raid, Bengal spray, those little combat baits that you put down. This will help.

Your going to have to call an exterminator. You can't just do one room, if you see one, there's ten more in the walls.
Figure on spending all day taking stuff out of you cabinets, covering everything in the house, it's worth it.
They'll tell you what to do, follow their instructions.
