How can Nancy Pelosi say unemployment is the worst in history when employment is 95.6%?

It was not this great under Clinton but she talked of this in glowing terms.

I hope we don't have to live with her hypocrisy and liberal, far out thinking.

Truth doesn't matter in this election. It is all about taking control of Congress. Pelosi represents the most far out Liberal section of our country. Look at what is legal in San Fransisco and you will see what is coming soon to you Congress

Unemployment figures mean nothing as they only count the people that are actually drawing unemployment. Those that have expired their funds or didn't qualify don't count. The economy is much worse than it was under Clinton and the number of jobs that pay well is at an all time low. There are lots of jobs, if you don't mind getting paid $8.00 and hour.

My big fear is that if she becomes Speaker of the House the woman will be two heartbeats away from the Presidency. If something were to happen to the President and the Vice-President guess who becomes our Commander in Chief, Nancy Pelosi.

As for your question.. How can she say unemployment is bad? It would make her happy if unemployment was bad. It would make her happy if our economy would crash over the next 3 days. It would make her happy if anything really bad happened inside our borders over the next few days. Sounds pretty sad, huh.

You forgot an important point
Bush had the way the numbers are computed changed
If your unemployment has run out-youdont count
If you work seasonally ie: construction, farm work, tourism ect- you dont count
If you owned a business that had to close down- you dont count
If you and you spouse worked, and now only your spouse is employed- you dont count
If you are in prison (3 1/2% of the population) you dont count
If you are in the military (including guard) you dont count
***this means if your work is limited to one weekend a month, you are employed**
BUT
If you worked a $20 an hour job and now work 2 $7 an hour jobs
YOU COUNT TWICE, and remove one more person from the list
If unemployment was calculated under the method used when Clinton was in office, we are over 14%
