I am 16, since the start of the year i have gained alot of weight. In Jan i was 123lbs now i am 181lbs and i am 5'6. I was concidered attractive before, am i still attractive now? The reason why i have gained is because i seem to of just become addicted to food, no emotional problems. Am i overweight?? PLZ answer these questions and give me ur opinions.

You are attractive and will always be. That's not the real problem.

You're not horribly overweight yet, but at this rate, you will be soon.
Addicted to food that makes you gain that much weight is something you need to talk to your doctor about. If it's not emotional, it could be medical.

im just answering because I feel that the other answers are being to lenient on what a proper wieght should be. Using a BMI calculator will give you a good idea of what a healthy weight should be. 10 - 12 pounds lighter would still leave you over weight. Weighing even 150 pounds would be just at the tip of achieving a healthy weight, with very little wiggle room. You should probably target round 140lbs. I hate to be so brutally honest, but that should be your target and not just for appearance, but more importantly for your health

yes, sorry sweety you are overweight. I am addicted to food too, for emotional reasons though. You are only 16 and need to remember you have a lifetime to enjoy these foods. spread it out. ALso increase your activity, so that it is balanced after you have lost your weight. You are still attractive. Personality and confidence. If you want to lose weight you have to eat less then you burn off. Otherwise if you are happy with yourself then it doesn't matter.

Yes, you are slightly overweight so just change what you eat and add some activity to your life. Being slightly overweight does not make you unattractive. Just try to take care of your health a little better and I 'm sure you will feel better about how you look.

To assess your health risks of being this weight, new guidelines (UK) say that a womans waist should be no more than 32 inches (35inches for a man.) This is linked to your risk of having heart problems.

You are somwhat overweight. I would recommend changing your eating habits and exercising. You will not onlylook and feel better but your heart will thank you in the long run. Good Luck!

u should be around 10 to 12 lbs less.
just become unaddicted to junk food if u want to retain ur fig.
