Know yourself first. Understand why you are attracted to such types of men. Read self-help books to educate yourself as to how to identify these types of men you should avoid.
Realize that you are attracted to the "wrong types" of men because they stimulate you. Thus other men, although less stimulating or attractive to you, will be better behaved.
I do not believe in labeling people. Calling some types of people "losers" is generalizing.
Look how a man talks about and treats his mother. What does he say about former spouses, girlfriends? Does he blame them for everything? Is he emotionally mature or in a rut, stuck back in high school?
Look for someone will be supportive to you emotionally and treats you like an equal. Someone who knows how to give and take, to share.
A sense of humor, one who avoids sarcasm or belittling others, is important.

How you can not see from the first dates if the relationship is for you or not? The losers can be man and women equally from the beginning of relationship and they try to blame each other to be so unproductive and making everything dysfunctional.

simple really be yourself and run a mile from any guy that acts like a complete loser sometimes men will try to put on an act to try and make themselves seem normal so its not always poss to tell by the 1st date if a guy is a loser!
therefore i suggest spending time with them talking and trying to figure out what a guy is really like then making your own mind up.
