WE INDIANS USED TO CRITCISE,POLITICIANS 4 THE PRESENT CONDITION OF OUR COUNTRY.BUT TRUTH IS THAT WE R D MOST IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE IN D WORLD.WE CRITICISE CORRUPT POLITICIANS,BUT WE R READY 2 GIVE BRIBE FOR OUR NEEDS.WE CRITCISE UNTIDY STREETS AND PRAISE WESTERN COUNTRIES.BUT WE DNT MIND 2 DUMP OUR HOUSEHOLD WASTES 2 STREETS.FIRST PEOPLE SHOULD CHANGE THEIR MINDSET.THEN ONLY COMPLETE SYSTEM WILL CHANGE.OURS IS THE SOCIETY WHO WILL BLAME EVERYTHING ON POLITICIANS AND BEUROCRACY,BUT 4GOT 2 DO THEIR DUTIES.DEMOCRACY WILL SUCCEED ONLY IF PEOPLE IS AWARE OF DER DUTIES&RIGHTS

I agree with your view points, to an extent. But then what is democracy. Isn't it people's voice. If those elected do not just bother to hear you after the elections, what would you do. Well, you may say teach them a lesson in the next elections. That happens only if you are allowed to vote. Have you not seen what happened in the Chennai Corporation elections. A majority of the general public were are not allowed to vote. It was all booth capturing by Goondas of the ruling party.

I want to do good things myself to keep my street clean and there are many like me in the whole of India. But, if the politicians threaten me not to do it, do you have the guts to go and given them the same kind of adivce? They are not bothered about you and me since they have their own vote bank. Even if the general public do not vote in an election, the winner is decided by each party's staunch supporters. In such a scenario, your preachings won't work unless there's a complete overhaul of the whole electoral system.

the other side of the coin. any society bad people will be there .if the management is good, then everything will be fine.even Singapore some people break the law.but why majority not breaking the law ,they know if caught you are sure getting the punishment that also quickly.but here even you get caught you can work your way out . now who is wrong ? now who is wrong the criminal or the management?

why we are giving bribe.the out dated rules which you can interpret in lot of ways which puts us in the mercy of the bureaucracy and politicians to get things done.if you bring in a clear system which promises for any work these are the information needed and you get it your work done in the counter by order of receipt with out jambing the q.otherwise strict no .then who will pay bribe?people not paying bribe happily,simply no choice and the worst sufferers or poor people. leave criminals. the law abiding citizen who pays his taxes and does his duty is also cycled in the system managed by politicians and berocrates and made as fool, so if they change then the people change happily.

Do you know that any thing which pays in this country is owned by politicians? Right from Auto rickshaws,taxis, unions, workers, government, industry and name what ever is owned by politicians only. people are supposed to bribe because the money ultimately reaches the ocean of politician.
If you can at least make the government to issue ID cards to all citizens on the basis of their ancestral moorings which can be verified i will bethankful to you

We can say Highest population and lack of basic things to People like food,shelter,dress,education, good job is the real culprit. At minimum if everyone have all these things what will happen. People will elect a good candidate. All people will think positively. I think garbage and sewage draining problem is only happens in metropolitan cities. Rest all part of India have good garbage disposal system I hope. Soon these things will be taken care. If you travel in Indian trains you will see lot of people taking alms coming into reserved compartments and railway administration dont do really anything to control them. They make compartments untidy Now what people can do about it.

Due to lack of good system in place what happens you know... you will be tempted to do what others follow. Suppose there are 100 family in a society and 95 of them put garbage in front of their house ; do you think remaining 5 family will bother to call municipal corporation to pick garbage . They will also dump in front of their houses .Because it is acceptable to their society.

So in order to implement a good system; basic needs of the people should be met first. In USA if you see , People stand in the ques patiently. Because they know they will get what they need. Because US government guarantees them about their right.

In India nothing will happen unless you break the que and push your hand through and your voice should be loud enough to be heard by the people concerned.

So let us work on minimising population and giving people their basic needs. By 2020 I hope we will achieve that. Then see our country will be like USA. No doubt about it.
