My favourite album of all time is Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged. Its amazingly haunting, and they're all fantastic musicians, and there's something about the purity of acoustic music that really gets to me.

Probably not really in line with your fav. music, but i own the album Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen and it is absolutely brilliant. Also, for any aussies out there, i own Spirit of Place by Goanna and it is equally as brilliant.
Anyway, that's just me.
