Fundamentally, when all the justification, quibbling and artful contrivings are done, men and women cheat for the same reason: pure selfishness.

There are many reasons men and women cheat. I am willing to bet out of a group of 10 men and 10 women cheaters some of them would have the same reasons.

people still siest to amaze me with their ignorance... listen... people cheat because of a few reasons. Some the same some not. People have issues in life that at times without proper training from parents make them do things that they shouldnt do.. If you live in the US than 7 out of 10 times people WILL cheat on you or influence you to cheat on someone else. Women are VERY manipulative and can cheat fro many many many reasons because they the majority of them are emotionally driven. Men on the other hand are logically driven and at times can be emotional.. Again this is a general measure of the majority of people. There are ALWAayS exceptions for extordinary people but there are very few in the US today, specially here in Metro Detroit. So as far as cheating goes... there are individual reasons people chose to do a lot of things in this world that do NOT make any sence at all and cheating is one thing at the bottem of the WTF list when it comes to stupid things people do for whatever reasonn they chose to do it for.

Well actually I do agree and disagree with you. Women and men can cheat for many different reasons for instance if your partner isn't satisfying you or if the spark between you has disappeared women and men will cheat on their spouse or boy/girl friend OK.

Men and women cheat first and then to justify themselves create reasons for that cheating. Infact to cheat someone has got no reason behind it but only a bad mental thought.

Men cheat for one reason only that they are not getting the sex they need the attention they need and the respect they need...women cheat for all of the above.......and money...........o rjust money alone..........all sisters under the skin just a matter of negotiating the price..money, car, house, lifestyle..etc

In my opinion, having sex with someone who you don't love, is really no differant to masturbation. Thus, having an affair purely for the sex, isn't wrong.
