Hello,

There are no exact causes but only a few theories:

There are theories pointing toward an exaggerated immune response to long-term stimulation by foreign substances. or infectious agents.

People with Rheumatoid arthritis will have a destruction of their joint resulting from inflammation of the synovia(smooth ,thin capsule or membrane lining the joints).

Antibodies and white blood cells will infiltrate the synovial membranes causing them to proliferate and damaging peomanently the joint cartilage, bones, ligaments and tendons.

This inflammatory process will spread and will involve vital organ and tissue such as skin, blood vessels, muscles, heart, nerves and lungs.

People with Rheumatoid arthritis generally will have loss of mobility, painful joints and depression.

So many types of arthritis-rheumatoid(adult and juvenile); degenerative(due to wear and tear); metabolic(gout, etc);traumatic(injuries to joints); septic(infections). Take your pick-anything that will cause your joints to lose cartilage will lead to arthritis(joint inflammation).
